1. About Stedyfit

Stedyfit is a nutrition-tracking service that helps you log food, organise meals, estimate nutrition from labels, images, products, and recipes, and compare your entries with goals you set.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care.

3. Not medical advice

Stedyfit provides general informational and self-tracking tools. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition values and automated estimates may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

Do not rely on Stedyfit for medical decisions or emergencies. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have an allergy, eating disorder, medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including meal entries, notes, photographs, and recipe links. You give us a limited, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve Stedyfit and provide features you request. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to reasonable backup and legal-retention periods.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that our permitted use of it will not infringe another person's rights or break the law.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Stedyfit unlawfully or to harm, threaten, impersonate, or deceive anyone;
• upload malware, abusive material, or content that infringes another person's rights;
• attempt to access another user's account or non-public parts of the service;
• interfere with security, availability, rate limits, or normal operation;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or probe the service except where the law expressly permits it; or
• use automated means that place an unreasonable load on Stedyfit.

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or others.

6. Automated estimates and third-party services

Some features rely on artificial intelligence and third-party data. Results are estimates and may vary from packaging, laboratory data, or professional guidance. Product listings, recipe pages, images, and other third-party materials remain the responsibility of their respective providers.

Links to external services do not mean we endorse or control them. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply when you use them.

7. Our intellectual property

Stedyfit and its software, branding, design, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Stedyfit to you.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Stedyfit available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a material change that adversely affects existing users.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using Stedyfit at any time and may request account deletion by emailing hello@stedyfit.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, create a security risk, or expose us or others to legal liability. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

10. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, losses caused by information or instructions you supplied, or business losses arising from personal use of the service. Stedyfit is provided for personal use and is not a substitute for professional healthcare or nutrition advice.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you use Stedyfit.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections provided by the law where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Stedyfit, law, security, or our business. We will post the updated terms here and revise the effective date. We will provide additional notice before material changes take effect where reasonably required. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
